Ms. Guy was born and raised in Texas, and horses have always
been an integral part of her life. Her family owned and operated
a Thoroughbred racehorse farm: breeding, training and racing.
Ms. Guy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with
a BFA in Visual Art Studies, and currently works as a high school
teacher of Art and Art History. Her specialty is equine-related
digital photography. Most of her work is of the horse in action,
but she also successfully captures the more quiet side of being
a horse. She also accepts the occasional portrait commission.
Ms. Guy lives in Houston,
Texas. She has ridden since age six, and still rides in dressage, foxhunting, and eventing
with her new Thoroughbred gelding. Her first Thoroughbred gelding has earned retirement at
age 24. |

"I want to focus on
unusual images of horses and
riders that are thought-provoking and have that
"wow" factor. It gives me so much pleasure when
someone sees one of my pictures and says "I
never would've thought to take a photo of that
but that's really cool."... Angela
